    SystemC-Live is similar to Knoppix, but based on Slax and Slackware. It features the SystemC OSCI simulation kernel, the required g++ compilers and libraries, and an integrated development environment, debugger, and waveform viewer.   • Slax AoE LiveCD
    Slax AoE LiveCD is a bootable CD with ATA over Ethernet (AoE) target and initiator programs. It can be used as an AoE server or client. It is based on Slax Frodo Edition with some modifications needed to simplify use of AoE. ATA over Ethernet (AoE) is a network protocol designed for accessing ATA storage devices over Ethernet networks.
  • SLYNUX
    SLYNUX is a user friendly GNU/Linux Operating System for beginners. It can be run completely from CD without installation. This is a Debian based GNU/Linux developed from Knoppix.

  • Ubuntu Live CD
    The live CD allows you to try Ubuntu without changing your computer at all, and is available for Intel x86, PowerPC and AMD64.
  • Ubuntu Privacy Remix
    Ubuntu Privacy Remix is a modified live CD based on Ubuntu Linux. UPR is not intended for permanent installation on a hard disk. The goal of Ubuntu Privacy Remix is to provide an isolated working environment where private data can be dealt with safely. The system installed on the computer running UPR remains untouched. It does this by removing support for network devices as well as local hard disks. Ubuntu Privacy Remix includes TrueCrypt and GnuPG for encryption and introduces "extended TrueCrypt volumes".
  • ValEnt Linux
    ValEnt Linux uses the KDE desktop environment, it has all the necessary software pre installed for: writing documents, spreadsheets, presentations, image manipulation, playing DVD's and music, viewing PDF files and much more. ValEnt Linux also has the synaptic software manager installed.
  • Virtual Linux
    Virtual Linux is basically the Mandriva Linux operating system, modified to run directly from your cd rom drive. With Virtual-Linux 1.1 you get about 1.6 gigabytes of software, all compressed onto one cd rom, using cloop compression.

    vnlinuxCD is a Vietnamese Linux live CD based on Mandrakelinux and designed for desktop use.
  • Wolvix
    Wolvix is a LiveDistro built from SLAX . It's a desktop and multimedia oriented Linux distribution designed to suite the needs of regular to advanced desktop users. Wolvix comes with the Xfce desktop environment and the Fluxbox window manager and includes a carefully selected group of development, graphics, multimedia, network and office applications.
  • Xarnoppix
    Xarnoppix is a Knoppix-based live CD with support for Catalan and Spanish.
  • Xebian
    Xebian is an Xbox-enabled version of the Debian GNU/Linux distribution. It is based on the standard x86 Debian, but the install process, and naturally the bootloader, the kernel and the kernel modules are all customized for the Xbox.
  • XFCELive
    XFCELive is a community-based effort to bring the distro and desktop environment closer together.
  • Xfld
    Xfld is 'Xfce live demo', a GNU/Linux operating system (derived from Knoppix) that can be run completely from CD. It features an up-to-date Xfce as desktop environment. Xfld provides approximately two gigabytes of (transparently compressed) software. Among those you can find tools like the Gimp, OpenOffice, which is partly compatible to Microsoft Office, Firefox for browsing the web, Thunderbird for reading your mail - and many more.
  • Yamefa
    Yamefa is a Linux distribution based on Kubuntu, so it's a complete user-friendly operating system including many software applications. Yamefa can be installed in 58 languages (two are supported on the CD : french and english, for the others, the language packages are downloaded during the installation or updates).
  • Zesktop
    This Live CD includes JD4X v0.4 and Zesktop v0.2.
