Linux thin client specialist Igel has created a Linux operating system image for a rugged panel PC designed for vehicle-mounted and industrial applications. The Igel-5310 LX Premium Image works with Glacier's Everest PC (pictured), available with a 600 MHz Celeron or 1.4GHz Pentium M processor.

    AdvanceCD is a bootable live CD, DVD and USB disk of a minimal Linux distribution containing the AdvanceMAME emulator. You can boot it in any PC and play the contained games without any installation. The default distribution contains the arcade games Gridlee, Poly Play and Robby Roto and it uses only 20 Mbyte leaving the whole disk for your roms.

    SkatOS is a bootable, stand-alone distribution which plays the popular German card game Skat. It fits on a single floppy or CD and uses VESA 1.1 or higher, a PS/2 or serial mouse, and generic keyboard. It features full client/server network support for LANs.
  • SuperGamer
    The Super Gamer is based on the core of PCLinuxOS. It is optimized for a gaming computer environment, with some tweaks to help speed up running from the Live DVD. Extra games were added along with some demos of proprietary games.
