LilyPond
LilyPond is an "automated engraving system." It will format music notation beautifully without requiring typographical expertise of its users. It tries to mimic traditional plate engraving in the general impression, layout algorithms, and the font design.

    CastCluster provides access to additional content on iTunes, Apple TV, iPod, or a random podcast viewer. It currently supports YouTube, Google Video, local disks, and RSS feeds as sources of content. CastCluster uses ffmpeg for video conversion.

  • Email-based UPnP Media Server
    This Audio/Video (AV) Media Server is an Open Source UPnP compatible media server, which takes media contenet directly from your mail system, instead of your local disk. This enables you to store all your Music, Pictures and Videos by simply e-mailing them to yourself, and then playing them on your TV or stereo using any standard UPnP client device. The mail AV media server supports all standard POP3 and IMAP mail servers.
  • JTVD
    a graphical frontend for popular command line programs such as MEncoder, transcode, MJPEG Tools, toolame, DVDAuthor, and growisofs
  • KutttPech
    capable of playing MPEG-1 within your browser without downloading any irritating plug-in. It is specialized in handling LIVE MPEG STREAMS, but can play files just as easely
  • Linux Video Maker
    Linux Video Maker is application for generating DVD or (S)VCD structures that are ready to record on CD or DVD. It is a GUI for transcode, mplex, DVDAuthor, and few other programs. It makes the creation of DVDs and VCDs easier, especially for beginners. Linux Video Maker prevents many mistakes, especially in the conversion process, which can take a lot of time.
  • MediaFrame
    a streaming media platform that provides a fast, easy to implement, and extremely small applet that allows over 97% of Web users to view your audio and video content without having to rely on external player applications or bulky plug-ins
  • SurePlayer
    an open-source, standards compliant, Java-based MPEG-1 streaming video player
  • Varsha
    a GUI based DVD authoring tool for Linux. You can make DVDs from your mpeg files as well as digital still pictures (Slideshow DVD). You can even combine slideshows with regular video and make them accessible through menus
