Advanced Linux Sound Architecture

Burn.app

A GNUstep based CD burning program for GNU/Linux. It serves as front-end for Joerg Schilling's cdrtools, cdrdao, and cdparanoia.

CDRBQ

A graphical front-end for the excellent programs 'mkisofs' and 'cdrecord'. It can also burn mp3 to cd audio.

make_audio

This is a audio CD burner application, that help you convert mp3 file to writable data format and burn your audio CD. mkaudio use cdrecord, mpg123 and sox as backend.

TkBurn

A frontend to cdrecord and mkisofs, based on Tcl/Tk.

TkDVD

A GUI for growisofs which is a part of dvd+rw-tools. It allow burnning DVD+R/RW (and -R/RW because growisofs support it in latest versions) easily.

WISH CD-Writer

A super-simple program for CD writing and rewriting, written in Tcl/Tk. Unlike many other graphical front ends to mkisofs and cdrecord, WISH CD-Writer is not intended to give the user access to as many CD-writing options as possible. It is intended to present ordinary home computer users with as *few* difficult options as possible, while being as useful as possible for common purposes such as: copying data CDs (including bootable CDs); creating ("mastering") new data CDs for copying and distribution; backing up files on CDs.

xfburn

xfburn is easy to use burning software for the Xfce desktop environment (but will work with others). It uses libburn and libisofs as a backend. ISO files can be burned, data composition created, discs blanked, and DVD-RW media formatted and deformatted. Common burning software features not yet implemented are audio CD creation and disc copying.

Xmp3Burn

Xmp3Burn lets you to record audio CDs from MP3 files without intermediate files.
