RSSOwl
RSSOwl is a free RSS (0.91, 0.92, 1.0, 2.0) newsreader written in Java programming language using SWT as fast graphic library. Features of RSSOwl include reading RSS or RDF newsfeeds in a comfortable tab folder, save newsfeeds in categories, export them to PDF / HTML or OPML, and view news in an internal browser. Read more

    ControlAula allows a teacher to control a classroom. It lets the teacher launch applications, see and control what students are doing, and transmit video and audio.
  • DingsBums?!
    DingsBums?! is a flashcard-like learning tool originally conceived for vocabularies, but which can be used for any kind of content that can be memorized using flashcards. Dingsbums?! aims to be an application which makes memorizing both fun and efficient.
  • GNUTU
    GNUTU is designed for students from primary and secondary schools - using it, you can note various information (like marks, test dates and important school events). It also can create various statistics, search for all entered data, calculate your average; it can also serve as a diary.
  • GradeL
    GradeL is a gradebook program for teachers. It features an easy-to-use GUI, and produces multiple reports.
  • iTALC
    iTALC makes it possible, to access and influence the pupils activities just from the computer of the teacher. With the help of iTALC, for example the teacher is able to see the content of the pupils screens on his screen. If a pupil needs help, the teacher can access the pupils desktop and give support from his computer.
  • MathTables
    MathTables is a program that helps parents teach their children how to use the four basic math operations, addition, substraction, multiplication, and division. With MathTables parents can print sheets full of math operations for their children to answer. They can also print corresponding sheets with the solutions so that either them, or the children themselves, can work on the corrections.
  • Nihon-go Flash
    Nihon-go Flash is meant for beginners and intermediates learning to read Japanese writing. Currently only Hiragana and Katakana are supported, and the program does not require any Japanese specific fonts or language settings.
  • Parley
    Parley is a program to help you memorize things. Parley supports many language specific features but can be used for other learning tasks just as well. It uses the spaced repetition learning method, also known as flash cards.
  • ReadingBug
    ReadingBug is a designed to help in memorizing words, spelling, mathematics, and other things. ReadingBug may look like just another flash card program, but it can do much more. The program will track the progress of the student in a simple HTML table that can be imported into other programs for further evaluation. The program is fully configurable. Sounds and graphics are left in a simple format, allowing users to make changes as they see fit.
  • RLS AVON
    RLS AVON is a computer-based learning system. Students receive a lecture (screen shot) and then follow up with a test made up of multiple choice questions. You could call RLS AVON computer aided instruction, but the program has the capacity to deliver instruction on its own. You could also call it an e-learning platform.
  • Salasaga
    Salasaga is an easy-to-use GUI authoring environment that helps you create visually impressive and useful learning material.
