Coherent PDF Command Line Toolkit (commercial) The Coherent PDF Command Line Toolkit providex a robust, professional set of tools for manipulating PDF files. The operations it offers includes split and merge, linearize, encrypt, scale, rotate, crop, bookmark, stamp, watermark, annotate, attach, and much more. It's based on the camlpdf library. ePDFView ePDFView is a lightweight PDF document viewer that only uses the GTK+, Poppler, and cairo libraries. It is currently under development, but already opens most PDF files (even encrypted), and can show the document's outline. ePDFView ePDFView is a free lightweight PDF document viewer using Poppler and GTK+ libraries. The aim of ePDFView is to make a simple PDF document viewer, in the lines of Evince but without using the Gnome libraries. LinuDent LinuDent is a dental practice management software package that will run in console mode or X. OOoLatexEquation OOoLatexEquation is an OpenOffice.org macro designed to manipulate LaTeX equations. It allows you to insert equations into OOWriter and OOImpress documents as PNG images and edit the content through an intuitive GUI as does TexPoint for M$Office. openDIAS openDIAS (Document Imaging Archive System) provides document imaging with OCR. You can scan documents (with SANE) or import ODF documents, and then assign tags. It can store all your letters, bills, statements, etc. in a convenient, safe, and easily retrievable way. PDF Import Filter for KOffice PDF Import Filter for KOffice is a PDF import filter for KOffice (at the moment only for KWord). It currently imports text with formatting (font, color, tabulations) and images. pdfposter pdfposter allows you to scale and tile PDF images/pages to print on multiple pages. It works much like 'poster' does for Postscript files, but working with PDF, since sometimes poster does not like files converted from PDF. pdfrecycle pdfrecycle creates a PDF file by composing pages from other PDF files. It lets you define PDF bookmarks or put multiple logical pages onto each physical sheet of paper. pdfrecycle uses a simple text file format to define the layout and what pages to include. From this input file, pdfrecycle creates a LaTeX file and then runs pdflatex to produced the PDF file. PDFResurrect PDFResurrect is a tool aimed at analyzing PDF documents. The PDF format allows for previous document changes to be retained in a more recent version of the document, thereby creating a running history of changes for the document. SohoVoice SohoVoice is a voice mail system for linux, written in Perl, that uses vgetty. The vision is a complete voice-mail solution, which is accessed over the web using realplayer for the audio messages. The WollMux The WollMux is an OpenOffice.org plugin with enhanced template, form, and autotext functionality. It can construct templates on the fly from multiple files (e.g. letterhead, footer, and body text) and will fill in personal and organizational data from various databases such as LDAP. An extra form GUI presents fields in an easily navigable manner and offers plausibility checks and computed values to ease filling in the form. Chainable printing functions allow various transformations during print and custom dialogs.
