  • HTML Sucks Completely
    HSC (HTML Sucks Completely) is a developer tool for HTML projects. It is mainly intended for creating and maintaining larger Web sites, with a focus on compact and standards-conforming code. Its source texts are HTML files that use an extended syntax allowing for macros, conditionals, variables, expressions, etc. These sources are transformed into static (X)HTML pages. HSC checks the result for many common errors such as missing end tags and nesting mistakes, both in the markup and, to a limited extent, in CSS. As a commandline tool, it can be used together with "make", and a dependency generator is included. The macro library features things like navigation menus, LaTeX-style sections, footnotes and bibliographies, semiautomatic table-based layout, and database/scripting interfaces.
  • htmlex
    a small but powerful HTML preprocessor, which has numerous advantages compared to conventional HTML files
  • HTMLProc
    a HTML preprocessor, designed to aid the web creator. It's main advantage is allow to include files into files. This allows you to put a menu in a file and include it into all your pages, so if you change something in the menu, it will change automagically in all files
  • htmlPX
    a simple command-line program that can be used to build websites from template files. The template files and other, auxilliary files, are combined by htmlPX to produce HTML files that can be uploaded to a website

    an offline HTML preprocessor. It copies the output of embedded shell commands to an HTML file

    Htp was intended as a HTML pre-processor. It is able to preprocess HTML, XHTML, XML and CSS files (htp could process any text based files). Its purpose is to assist you to maintain a consistent "look" over an entire set of web pages. This is done by allowing you to define your own tags as abbreviations for sets of standard HTML tags.
  • issPolicy
    issPolicy is a free open-source utility for converting an ISS RealSecure Network Sensor and ISS Proventia Inline Appliance Policy to a static HTML file. Written in Perl, issPolicy allows for granular parsing of ISS RSNS and ISS Proventia policies , and supports a wide variety of features allowing the HTML generation to be customized based on different policy parameters.
  • kses
    an HTML/XHTML filter written in PHP. It removes all unwanted HTML elements and attributes, and it also does several checks on attribute values. kses can be used to avoid Cross-Site Scripting (XSS), Buffer Overflows and Denial of Service attacks
