Br OS – Brazilian Linux distribution

Br OS is a Brazilian Linux distribution based on Kubuntu, sporting the KDE Plasma desktop.

It is designed as an intuitive, easy-to-use, general-purpose operating system for web usage and content creation, providing a selection of useful applications for daily use.

Processor: 2-core 2.0 Ghz with 64-bit support
2GB DDR3 RAM
128MB Video

Recommended Requirements:
Processor: Intel Core i3-3220 (3rd Gen) or AMD Athlon X4 845
4GB DDR3 RAM
Video: Nvidia GT610 or Radeon HD5450

What's a Linux distribution ("distro")?

A distro provides the user with a desktop environment, preloaded applications, and ways to update and maintain the system.

Each distro makes different choices, deciding which open source projects to install and provides custom written programs. They can have different philosophies.

Some distros are intended for desktop computers, some for servers without a graphical interface, and others for special uses. Because Linux is an open source operating system, combinations of software vary between Linux distros.
