We already cover a lot of open source software, but there are many useful Linux programs we’ve yet to feature.
Please complete the form below if you’d like us to consider an open source program that runs natively under Linux.
Things to bear in mind, please:
- Use the search function to make sure the program doesn’t already have a page.
- Confirm the software runs on a modern Linux distribution. Projects that are difficult to build because of outdated dependencies are unlikely to be included.
- Avoid suggesting software that’s abandoned or hasn’t received updates in recent years.
- Please disclose significant use of generative AI in the program’s development. We don’t reject software simply because AI tools have been used, but projects that appear to have been largely generated by AI are rarely featured. We favour software that is actively maintained, works well, and is developed by people who understand and stand behind the code. Read why AI-heavy projects rarely feature on LinuxLinks.
With your help, we can make LinuxLinks even more useful to open source enthusiasts.
