Cryptonose uses a real-time connection to an exchange. For selected cryptocurrency pairs, it uses all exchange transactions (fills) to track the price.
The software checks exchanges on selected markets on pairs with 24 hour volume exceeding a provided value.
The tool tracks percentage price changes. It also tracks relative price changes.

The program sends desktop notifications when a price change meets your price alert conditions. It can also play a sound, or open a web browser.
Price alerts are configurable, as shown in the dialog box below. There’s a few typographical errors in some of the dialog boxes, but this isn’t significant.
There’s also a power save mode which disables tables on all active exchange tabs.
