Memory Benchmarks
Only the HP EliteDesk and the AWOW AK41 support DDR4 RAM. The other machines use the older DDR3 technology.
The most significant differences between DDR3 and DDR4 RAM is higher module density and lower voltage requirements combined with higher data rate transfer speeds. Current generation DDR4 modules start at 2133MHz, with official support for up to DDR4-3200. Modules can be overclocked.
You might expect the EliteDesk and the AK41 to romp home here. That’s true for the HP EliteDesk, whereas the AK41’s performance in this benchmark is lamentable. The reason is simple. The EliteDesk is a dual-channel memory capable system. Make sure you populate both DIMM slots to maximise memory performance. The AK41 is only a single-channel memory capable system, and the RAM cannot be upgraded.
RAMspeed tests the system memory (RAM) performance.

Given the EliteDesk’s dual-channel memory capable system and we have 2 8GB SODIMMS fitted, the machine outperforms the other machines by a country mile! The Lenovo M93 is also a dual-channel memory capable system but uses older DDR3 RAM.

Again, this benchmark tests the system memory (RAM) performance. The HP EliteDesk is the clear winner.
