slants command
The final command to examine is slants. This is an example of the command’s output with the command:
$ wallgen slants 700
While I specified 700 as an argument, the image created has 1400×1400 resolution. This function is not as popular compared to the others. The author describes it as an experimental idea which is really legacy code.
I initially had an issue running the slants command with the tool complaining that ‘randcolor’ was not defined. Having contacted the author, he applied a commit to his code within a few hours fixing the problem. He also immediately fixed a bug that stopped the display of file generation message. That’s what makes open source special.
