Michigan is a state in the Great Lakes region of the upper Midwestern United States. It borders the Canadian province of Ontario, the US states of Ohio, Indiana, and Wisconsin, and it shares a water boundary with Illinois and Minnesota.

DetroitDetroit Area Red Hat User Group is focused on bringing together the Michigan Red Hat User Community for business and technical presentations, conversations, food and drinks. Membership is open to Red Hat customers, partners and people interested in Red Hat technologies.
Farmingtonmud.org meets at 6:30pm Eastern Time (EST/EDT) on the second Tuesday of each month featuring a wide variety of UNIX, Linux, and Open Source technologies. Meetings are free to attend, and all are welcome.

TroyHyperledger Troy: The Hyperledger Foundation is an open source collaborative effort hosted by the Linux Foundation and created to advance cross-industry blockchain technologies.
WestlandMDLUG: The Metro Detroit Linux Users Group has a long history since the mid 1990s of discussing and demonstrating Linux related products. They are a volunteer based organization that meets on the second Saturday of each month.
