Musicalypse – audio player and server built with Web technologies

Last Updated on September 1, 2020

Summary

Musicalypse is an intriguing music player. It offers a good feature set which are well implemented. And the backend streaming server worked out of the box without any complications.

While its large memory footprint isn’t a showstopper, the lack of gapless playback is a very sad omission.

The project hasn’t attracted much popularity with music enthusiasts, garnishing only a handful of GitHub stars, which is undeserving. An underrated music player.
