Summary
In many ways, a minimalist music player makes a lot of sense with a large potential market. Do you want to spend precious time learning the functionality of a music player, or actually maximize your time listening to your locally stored music you love?
Will Pogo become my main music player? Not by a long chalk. The absence of gapless playback removes any consideration from my perspective. And it’s missing lots of functionality that I find useful even if I don’t use it that much.
But if gapless playback isn’t important to you, and your music collection is stored locally or can be mounted, you might like Pogo.
Memory usage is perfectly respectable for a graphical music player. Pogo uses around 60-76MB of RAM in usage.
