About the Hosts

Larry Bushey is a Business Architect Director at Salesforce. He brings over 20 years of experience as a corporate trainer, published author, and public speaker. His experience gives him a unique perspective on using today’s technology to get things done. He contributes to the Linux and open source communities by authoring documentation and writing manuals, guides, and books, including Ubuntu MATE: Upgrading from Windows or OSX, and Using Ubuntu MATE and Its Applications.

Bill Smith hails from New Mexico, USA. He offers the perspective of a distribution hopper and Linux gaming enthusiast. He is known for hopping between 3 or 4 distros a week in the past although he’s settling down.

Verdict:If you're fairly new to Linux, Going Linux is a great place to start your Linux adventures. Honest and thought-provoking opinions abound. A Linux podcast gem. If we were forced to offer a negative comment, it's not the most fluid podcast.
