The default interval between two breaks is 15 minutes and the break duration is 15 seconds. Naturally, the duration of a short and long break are configurable. And that also applies to the break interval. Personally, I prefer a break duration of at least 30 seconds. You can create short breaks with a maximum duration of 30 minutes, and long breaks with a 60 minute maximum duration.
If you’re like me, it’s too tempting to press the skip a break. So there’s a slider which strictly enforces a break. With this enabled, you are prevented from accessing your computer for the break period. There’s also the option to postpone breaks, and configure the length of that postponement. You can also change the time to prepare for a break.
You can also disable the keyboard during breaks.
