- Use the search function to to make sure the program doesn’t already have a page.
- Confirm the software runs on a modern Linux distribution, as projects that are difficult to build due to outdated dependencies are unlikely to be included.
- Avoid suggesting software that’s abandoned or hasn’t received updates in recent years.
