Tuleap is an open source suite designed to improve management of software development and collaboration.
With a single web-based solution, project managers, developers & quality managers can easily build, deploy software projects.
The software lets users:
- plan and monitor projects;
- manage software development lifecycle: source code, builds…;
- track requirements, tasks, incidents, etc;
- produce documents and releases;
- favour collaboration between project members.
Features include:
- Issue Tracking – Advanced tracker : workflow, granular user roles, flexible permissions by tracker and project user groups, own tracker templates, per tracker field customization, advanced search language, related issues, export as CSV.
- Scrum – Drag’n drop, Product Backlog, Release and Sprint planning, burnup, burndown, velocity.
- Kanban – Real-time card boards, WIP limitation, customizable columns, cumulative chart.
- Configure workflows through columns: limitation to move directly a card from the column “to do” to “closed”.
- Share boards with everyone while limiting updates to certain user groups.
- Source code control – One or several Git repos per project. Permissions. Inline comments. Integrated Subversion.
- Gerrit code review – Advanced workflow.
- Test management – Automated and Manual test campaigns. Traceability.
- Project management – Reporting tables, pies, bars, cumulative charts, Time tracking. Due date.
- Centralize project activities with a single solution to plan, track, develop, deliver and maintain apps.
- Create corporate project templates while giving each project manager the freedom of a customizable workspace/
- Comply with business and industry standards like ISO, CMMI and ITIL.
- Document management – By project document workspace. Approval workflow. Fine permissions. Wiki.
- Collaboration – Mattermost IM connectors for Git pushes and Scrum reports.
- Send a Scrum stand-up summary of your current planning with the list of update items and the burndown chart progress.
- Get a direct access to the cardwall and the burndown chart.
- Choose in your Scrum administration which bots.
- Notify Mattermost channels when a push occurs in a Tuleap Git repository.
- Get direct link from your Mattermost to the Git commit in Tuleap web interface.
- Select bots from your Scrum administration interface.
