RawTherapee is a raw photo processing application aimed at photographers who want detailed control over the development process. It handles raw files from a broad range of digital cameras as well as JPEG, TIFF and PNG images, with an emphasis on image quality and precise adjustment rather than digital asset management.
Changes are applied non-destructively and can be stored in processing profiles for reuse. RawTherapee is particularly strong in demosaicing, colour work, detail recovery and the ability to fine-tune individual stages of the raw-processing pipeline.
