Myxer is a lightweight graphical volume mixer for PulseAudio. It brings output devices, application streams and audio-card profiles together in a compact GTK interface rather than requiring separate utilities for everyday audio management.
The interface follows the current GTK theme, helping it blend into the desktop. More detailed controls are available through context menus, including access to individual audio channels and card profiles. Myxer can also be configured as the mixer launched from compatible desktop panel audio controls.
The project is now in maintenance-only mode. Its existing functionality remains available and contributions are welcome, but its maintainer is not actively pursuing new feature requests.
This is free and open source software.
